The Meet Ancient Egypt: Mummy, Life and Death in Ancient Egypt exhibition opened at the Meet You Museum in Beijing's 798 Art Zone, showcasing 123 ancient Egyptian artifacts.
The exhibition is divided into four sections, featuring highlights such as three mummy coffins, two human mummies, five animal mummies, and eight mummy wrappings. Other exhibits include noble jewelry, statues, relief sculptures and cosmetic tools.
Spanning 4,300 years and 32 dynasties, the artifacts cover Egypt's history from the Nile region's origins to its later developments, offering a comprehensive view of the ancient civilization's mystery and beliefs surrounding life.
The exhibition has previously toured Shanghai and Hangzhou.
