Encountering the Fusion of "Culture + Technology" at Shanghai Women's Innovation Classroom
"Museums serve as the living rooms of a city." On August 24th, the "Meet Her, Warm Your Heart" 2023 Shanghai Women's Innovation Classroom, hosted by All-China Women's Federation in Shanghai and organized by Shanghai Woman Pace-setter Association, took place at Meet You Museum Jing’an Pavillion. Advanced women from various fields, including members of  Shanghai Woman Pace-setter Association, gathered to reflect on the splendid ancient Shu culture and appreciate the harmonious integration of ancient Shu culture with modern technology.

The emerging format of "Culture + Technology"  , which breathes new life into precious historical and cultural resources, offers a broader market space for the flourishing development of the cultural industry. In this session, participants were guided into the Meet You Museum, where immersive visits showcased the application of technological achievements in the exhibition of traditional artifacts. The point was on exploring how modern technology can contribute to the better dissemination of Chinese cultural heritage.

Vice President Li Jie of Beijing Zhongchuang Cultural Tourism Industry Group shared with the participants the developmental journey of Meet You Museum. He narrated the museum's proactive exploration and practical efforts in creating a more youthful and interactive exhibition format.

It's worth noting that the curatorial team at Meet You Museum comprises many outstanding professional women who, in their careers, present exceptional expertise, dedication, and a profound passion for cultural arts. Demonstrating a spirit of continuous exploration and innovation in exhibition planning, they consistently present the audience with a series of captivating cultural and artistic exhibitions, providing various experiences of beaux-art.

How can the history from over three thousand years ago be brought closer to us through digitalization? Stepping into "Meet Ancient Shu: Sanxingdui Immersive Art Exhibition," the new exhibition experience features sensory interaction and the interplay of sound, light, and shadow, presenting a mysterious and brilliant world of ancient Shu civilization for the participants. With the innovative empowerment of digital technology, artifacts come to life, allowing participants to truly feel the unique sparks ignited by the fusion of "Culture + Technology." "The grand light display is truly impressive, providing an immersive exhibition experience that feels like a journey through time," exclaimed participants during their visit.

Culture needs the assistance of technology. Meanwhile technology requires the guidance of culture. Through the Shanghai Women's Classroom, participants have determined to actively take responsibilities to carry forward traditions. They are committed to contributing the strength of women to the construction of a strong nation regarding soft power.

The event was presided over by Tang Ying, Secretary-General of Shanghai Woman Pace-setter Association. Xu Weina, Deputy Director of the Communication and Internet Department of All-China Women's Federation in Shanghai, and Zhang Fan, Vice President of Shanghai Woman Pace-setter Association, attended the event.
